Hey guys! I am so sorry I haven’t been on Hatter or Maleficent the past few days. School just started back for me and with me taking so many AP classes I’ve had summer work to finish up and homework to do. Tonight I’m going to try to get on though. *fingers crossed*

So I watched Tin Man on Wednesday, some of Alice Thursday, and Neverland yesterday(you can see it was a bit of a sci fi marathon). And watching these films I caught a lot of really neat plot ideas and was thinking about how neat they were. And then it hit me that they could be applied to any situation. So I was kindof curious if anyone wanted to do a sort of edgy back story or far future story in that style. I can do it with either Hatter or Maleficent. If no one wants to it’s fine, I just thought it might be a neat plot idea to play out.

I saw Rapunzel rising, and I smiled. She was so happy about all of this sun gulugery.

“Rapunzel!” I shouted out. “How do you like the city?” I smiled like a mad man(which I was, of course) and waved fanatically.

Rapunzel laughed delightedly to see the short, bulbous-nosed man. (Come to think of it, there was something about him that reminded her of Mr. Smee! Maybe she’d introduce them if she ever saw the pirate again.) “Mr. Hatter!” she grinned, bounding over for a hug. “This is amazing! How’d you ever do it? I didn’t know you knew magic!”

“Well…..” I mumbled, a bit embarrassed that Rapunzel thought I had done this. “I really just did the putting it together work, following Apollo’s instructions> He actually assembled this whole place from pure sunlight!”

I was horribly nervous for the feast this morning. Apollo had made the provisions for the grounds and left notes to be opened throughout the festival. But I don’t like the not know what was happening.

As I walked into the town square in Corona, where Apollo had decided the festival should be held. But as I stepped onto the sun I felt warmth rush through me. And I was rising! I looked down and saw solid light rising above the square, forming a second city above Corona’s capital. I was rising above it all, on a podium, where I could see a light flying towards me. It was a letter opener with the number one on the handle.

I opened the letter, and read it to the world.

Although it was blurry, I made out the words:

“Welcome! I, Apollo, am pleased to welcome you to my birthday feast. i have left letters with Hatter, such as this one, for throughout the day, so that you will know in my absence what I believe would be the best course of action for the event. I will appear towards the end, but until then I bid you all to let the festivities begin!”

Rapunzel had received notice that the feast was to be held in Corona! This was so exciting! A different sun god! She clutched the handkerchief he’d given her tightly in her petite hand and stepped outside.

As soon as she stood in full sunlight, she began to be lifted to a spectacular party setting in the sky, shimmering with golden sunlight!

I saw Rapunzel rising, and I smiled. She was so happy about all of this sun gulugery.

Aurora was wandering the town square of Corona when she spotted a familiar face. “Mr. Hatter! It’s me, Princess Aurora!”

I saw someone, and I could not make them out. And then they called out to me.

“Oh, why hello Princess!” I waved as a sunbeam carried her up to the second city. “Apollo did a great job of building the place, don’t you think? Really outdid himself!”

Of all the things she thought this feast of Apollo’s would include, Susan never would have guessed that a second city, made seemingly of sunlight, floating above Corona would be part of it.  Well he is the Sun God, she mused, steadying herself after her accession to the city.  

She was glad that she hadn’t missed the celebrations in the time that she had been back in England; she still had some questions she wanted answered.  Strolling around, she began searching for some familiar faces.  

As I looked down, there were many people whom I did not recognize. One of them carried herself like royalty, although I thought I knew all of the royalty around these parts.

She began to rise up, and as she joined the city I introduced myself. “Hello, I’m Hatter. who are you and what land do you rule?”
